When 5% VW351 concentrate was incorporated into the polypropylene non-woven fiber, the absorptive capacity of the non-woven fiber increased to 3 times that of the non-woven fiber produced without the use of VW351.

Tests have shown that as the loading of Polyvel VW351 incorporated into the polypropylene fiber increases, the absorptive capacity of a non-woven polypropylene fiber can be increased to over 4 times that of a non-woven fiber produced without using VW351 concentrate.

In addition, the fibers produced using VW351 concentrate showed instant absorptive properties when put in contact with water.
