Polyvel hydrophobic additive masterbatches, VH103-S and VH103-M, impart alcohol repellency to nonwoven polypropylene fabric. The repellency is useful in medical, hygiene and construction applications.
VH103-S and VH103-M are designed for uniform melt mixing in fiber extruders and are more cost-effective than topically applied repellents. The –S and –M designations refer to the processing: spun bond and melt blown, respectively.
