customer needs and is constantly working on innovative new additive
concentrate technologies for the plastic processing industry.
Specialty Concentrates
UV Stabilizers
Polyvel custom formulates UV Stabilizer concentrates to meet specific
customer needs. We do not carry a "stock" line of these concentrates as
each customer application requires a concentrate engineered to meet the
specific nuances of their application.
Anti-Oxidants
An extremely effective means of eliminating oxidization and gel formation during LDPE and LLDPE film extrusion.
Peroxide Concentrates for Cross Linking and Grafting
For the controlled cross linking EVA and polyethylene. These
concentrates are effective at cross linking of resins without the
creation of gels in film. It is possible to increase hot strength of
resins and flexural strength during processing with the use of Polyvel
peroxide concentrates.
In Nylon film applications Polyvel peroxide concentrates allow
for the controlled addition of peroxide to the extrusion reaction
process.
Developmental Concentrates
Currently available developmental concentrates include:
- Antifog for use in metalocene resins
- Antistatic for electrical and pharmaceutical applications
- Odor scavengers for use in PE films
- Anticorrosion concentrates for use in PE films
- Slip additive for metalocene resins
