In slip additive applications bloom rate of the additive in the film
process is crucial. The following chart illustrates the bloom rate of
RO25 & RE25 in a blown LDPE film (6.5 MI Density 0.922 - 1 mill.
Thick film).
As can be seen in this chart, RO25 reduces the
coefficient of friction (COF) slightly faster than RE25, though the COF
over an extended period of time is lower when using RE25.
