Polyvel High Load Slip Concentrates RO25 & RE25
High load slip additive concentrate for blown and cast mono- and multilayered film applications
For customers requiring the benefits of an Erucamide or Oleamide
based slip additive in their film manufacturing process, there is no
better choice in additive concentrate on the market today than Polyvel
RE25 (Erucamide based) & RO25 (Oleamide based).
Both concentrates are 25% active slip additive, with no
fillers. They are engineered for superb dispersion and superior slip
characteristics.
The very appealing economics of using a high load slip
concentrate compared to use of a low load (5% loaded) alternative,
combined with exceptional performance characteristics make Polyvel RE25
& RO25 concentrates an excellent choice.
LDPE, LLDPE & PP films have a high coefficient of friction,
which leads to these films adhering to other films, as well as sections
of the same film being produced and metal surfaces contacted during
production. Low levels of Erucamide or Oleamide decrease the films
coefficient of friction, reducing and eliminating this sticking.
In films that are processed at temperatures up to 220° C, RO25
is recommended, as Erucamide is much more thermally stable, RE25 is
recommended for processing temperatures above 220° C.
