PLA Melt Strength Enhancers

Polyvel’s CT-L02 and CT-L03 masterbatches are 30% active compounds that effectively increases the melt strength of PLA. Additionally, CT-L02 will raise the impact strength of your final product.

CT-L02 and CT-L03 are dry, powderless pellets that are easy to dose and feed.

Typical physical properties

CT-L03 has clearance under U.S. FDA Food Contact Notification 429 and 545 and also clearance under the European Economic Community’s food contact rule, Commission Directive 2002/72/EC.

Custom formulating is available on request for other additives in PLA.
