Polyvel developed free flowing peroxide concentrates 14 years ago
(1985) to meet the needs of companies requiring both the benefits of
peroxide and a safe convenient means of handling these volatile
chemicals. To the best of our knowledge, Polyvel is the only company in
the market to offer these products.
Polyvel peroxide concentrates are formulated using proprietary
Polyvel technology, engineered for thorough dispersion of active
peroxide throughout the polypropylene compounds during processing.
Polyvel peroxide concentrates are pre dispersed thoroughly in a
pelletized carrier, eliminating safety concerns and allowing for
material storage in normal warehouse conditions.
Peroxide is a very effective polypropylene melt flow modifier,
therefore the active level of peroxide in the pelletized peroxide is
critical. Polyvel pelletized peroxide concentrates are manufactured
under strict quality control to assure that a consistent level of
peroxide is achieved in all concentrates produced.
