Pelletized and granular peroxide concentrates for polypropylene fiber applications
For spun bond and melt blow fiber applications Polyvel CR10PX and
CR20PX concentrates are recommended. When a small change in the melt
flow rate is desired, CR10PX is recommended (ie: increase a 400 MFR PP
to a 500 MFR PP).
The following graph illustrates the effectiveness of Polyvel
CR10PX peroxide concentrate in a 400 MFR resin for use in spun bond and
melt blown fiber.
For greater changes in polypropylene melt flow rates, Polyvel CR20PX is the most cost effective.
