Polyvel Peroxide Concentrates CR5 & CR5P
Polypropylene flow modifier concentrate for polypropylene injection modling applications
The addition of Polyvel CR5 & CR5P peroxide concentrate is a
versatile and cost effective means of increasing the melt flow
properties of polypropylene compounds.
By increasing the flow properties, an injection molder is able
to reduce processing temperatures during molding. With reduced process
temperatures, the time required to cool the finished part is
significantly reduced. With the reduction of cooling time, cycle times
are reduced, increasing productivity.
Increased flexibility in parts and mold design are possible
when using CR5 & CR5P peroxide concentrate as well. Thinner and
more complex parts can be designed and manufactured at lower process
temperatures. Molds can be designed and built having a greater number
of cavities, since flow properties can be adjusted by adding CR5 or
CR5P to the polypropylene compound.
Note: Polyvel CR5 is recommended for use in polypropylene and polypropylene compounds that would be used in food contact applications.
Polyvel CR5P is recommended for non food applications and is the most effective in these areas.
