Polyvel offers clarifying agents for polypropylene (PP) and polylactic acid (PLA) resins. The CAP- series was designed for PP. You can find more information on the PLA clarifiers here.

CAP20 is a highly dispersed clarifying agent for polypropylene homo and copolymers. CAP20 increases the number of polypropylene crystals growing from the molten resin. This results in spherulite sizes below the wavelength of light thereby reducing light refraction. Small crystals provide:

-         Improved clarity

-         Higher gloss

-         High impact strength

-         Faster molding cycle time (PP solidification at a higher temperature)

-         More dimensional stability
