Polyvelís antistatic masterbatches are more cost effective than any other commercially available alternative.

Our antistat masterbatch in a plastic film reduces the filmís surface resistivity (increases conductivity) because a hygroscopic, conductive, aqueous layer is formed on the film surface. This layer discharges static electricity built up by the triboelectric (frictional) action.

Possible applications:

Electronic packaging

Bubble pack is used to protect circuit boards; electrical circuits can be shorted unless the plastic packaging is antistatic.

Drum liners

Filling containers with powders generates a dangerous static charge; antistatic polyethylene drum liners effectively dissipate the charge.

Anti-dust

Nuisance dust build up on plastic parts is eliminated with antistatic resin.

All Polyvel antistat masterbatches comply with FDA and EC food contact standards.

VS-E09 is designed for cast and blown mono and multilayer LDPE.

CM-P01 is designed for extruded sheet, blown film, and injection molded polypropylene.
